Sue Holt is an experienced and qualified counsellor who gained a diploma in counselling in 1997. For a number of years she has worked in the field of supported housing, in various roles from residential social worker, project worker, team leader and manager in a number of Supported Housing organisations. This work offered homeless people support in sustaining independent accommodation, by working with them to develop the necessary skills to enable them to do this. Also managing teams of staff to deliver these services. Her counselling experience has been a valuable tool in this work, both in supporting vulnerable people and supervising and supporting her staff teams in what is a very demanding field of work.

As a counsellor Sue initially specialised with female survivors of childhood sexual abuse and women healing from the experience of domestic abuse. However she has worked with many clients with a variety of issues to work through, both male and female. She works in a wholly person centred way describing herself as an eclectic counsellor, utilising many modalities in order to best facilitate her clients progress.
